Abigail and Trent’s portrait session: Northamptonshire

It was a beautiful bright sunny afternoon in July when I met Abigail and Trent for their children’s photoshoot in the wild Poppy field in Church Brampton, Northamptonshire. They were a happy family of four, wanting organic and natural images in the great outdoors of their beautiful children.

ABOUT THE CHILDREN’S PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

Have you ever stood in a field of poppies? It is a truly spectacular sight. They are often difficult to find though, as locations change every year – which means children, family and dog photo shoots are offered to clients quite last minute. They normally appear from mid June – early July, but it also depends whether they have been ‘sewn’ the year before!

From the start of the photoshoot it was clear how happy and content the children were, and it was so beautiful to see their personalities come alive through the lens, with a little help from a small football! 😉

After the session, I headed home to work on the final gallery. The family were invited back to my home to view their images on a slideshow and they were absolutely thrilled! Seeing clients reactions is why I am so passionate at photography. Seeing that single moment captured which can be cherished for years to come is something quite special. Here are a few of the final images chosen by the parents:
