Aiofa and Polly’s Photo shoot: Children and Dog Photography in Northamptonshire

When this client reached out and asked me if I could capture some classic children and dog photography portraits in the wild poppy field in Church Brampton, Northamptonshire, I was so excited! We headed out to the location to capture some moments and memories. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for us. But here’s what happened next…

ABOUT AIOFE AND POLLY’S PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

I had been photographing children, families and dogs all week at the wild poppy field, so it was a shock to say the least when I arrived there at the end of the week with my final client, to find very few poppies left! Who knew poppies had an exceptionally short life span!? Well, I do now!

Thankfully, my wonderful client was so understanding, and suggested having the photo shoot in her garden at their family home. We arrived back at my clients beautiful house, and straight away it felt like their tranquil, peaceful garden was absolutely perfect for this photo shoot.

It was such a relaxing and personal portrait session, capturing Aiofe and Polly’s amazing bond and love that they have for each other. It felt even more special capturing their relationship within their own family garden. They were both complete naturals in front of the camera; it was genuinely a pleasure to photograph them together.

After the session, I headed home to work on the final gallery and when Rhiannon came to view the images with her husband, there were tears of joy! Seeing clients so happy and thrilled with their images makes me so happy and is why I love doing what I do! Here are a few of the final images chosen by Rhiannon:

PARENT’S THOUGHTS ON THE CHILDREN AND DOG PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

Here’s what Rhiannon said:

“We had a wonderful mini photo shoot with Elis and I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. Elis is an incredibly approachable and friendly person who was lovely with my daughter and doggie! The image reveal was a lovely touch where the photos are shown with tea, coffee and beautiful music. The photographs themselves were absolutely beautiful. Excellent service all round!”
