As a children and family photographer in Northamptonshire who has a passion for nature, I can think of no better place to capture children and families than the great outdoors.
Not only is nature incredibly beautiful to photograph, but children are simply happier and therefore easier to take pictures of when they are outdoors. They are themselves – carefree, wild, laughing, jumping, playing and yelling. All these things make for beautiful, real moments to capture.
My photography experiences ensure that all clients have a stunning gallery of images and pieces of wall art for them to treasure and love for generations to come.
How does it work?
Together, we decide on a location. I have a small number of places that I use frequently in Northamptonshire. However, if you have somewhere particular in mind or somewhere that is special to you I would absolutely love to hear about it.
Generally, I tend to start my children and family sessions with the aim of capturing portraits of the children and whole family together. This is the more structured part of the session and I will guide you every step of the way, in a way that consistently achieves stunning pieces of wall art for all of my clients that are displayed proudly around their homes.
Following this it’s very relaxed and the children can do what they do best - play! We will go on a relaxed walk around the location and I will capture the life that is happening around us.

To secure your family photoshoot in Northampton, a £99 deposit is required. Should you wish to invest in one of our Packages listed below, the £99 deposit will be deducted from your final order.

If it’s forecast heavy rain we will need to either reschedule to another date or ‘wait it out’ on the same day. I will usually confirm this either the day before or morning of your photoshoot. I usually ask clients to ensure they don’t make other plans on the day of their photoshoot, as it may be a case of ‘waiting it out’ on the day.

Family photoshoots last approximately 1 - 2 hours.

Approximately 2-3 weeks after your photoshoot I invited you back to my home in Long Buckby to view your full gallery of 20+ images. It is here when you decide which Package and/or wallart you would like to invest in.

Between us we can decide on an outdoor woodland location in Northamptonshire. My main locations are Everdon Stubbs, Badby Woods and Harlestone Firs.
