Emma and Hartley: Dog Photography in Northamptonshire

Hartley’s owner, Emma, asked me if I could capture some classic dog photography portraits so we headed out to Everdon Woods near Daventry in Northamptonshire, to capture some moments and memories. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for us and it was clear the amazing relationship both Emma and Hartley had.

ABOUT HARTLEY’S DOG PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

Hartley is a gorgeous little dog who was rescued from the streets of Romania at 6 months old, and despite not having the best start in life, all she wants is to be loved. The bond she has with her owner is so incredibly special. She was a superstar from start to finish in her photo shoot and we captured some lovely photographs which genuinely sum her up. Here are a few:

After the session, I headed home to work on every inch of the photos to create something that I believe captured Hartley’s character and personality.

OWNER’S THOUGHTS ON THE DOG PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

I booked a photo shoot with Elis. I was a little bit nervous in case my dog was a terror and did not engage, but Elis was absolutely fantastic entertaining her, made it look so easy and melted my anxiety away!

We did so many fantastic poses. Elis also captured a magical moment when Hartley decided to have a little cuddle with me. Elis just understood Hartley and bonded with her straight away.

I’m so glad I decided to go ahead with this. You can tell Elis is so passionate about her work, and is such a lovely warm-hearted lady!
